MRT Land Acquisition in South Jakarta Keeps Being Accelerated

South Jakarta Administration is accelerating land acquisition that impacted of Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) construction located at Jalan Fatmawati Raya until Lebak Bulus, Cilandak.

Mayor of South Jakarta, Tri Kurniadi stated that yesterday, the forum for acquiring 41 lands was held. But it was only attended by 34 residents. During the forum, dynamic between the land owners with Land Procurement Committee (P2T) of South Jakarta came up.

Beritajakarta.com observation mentions, a group of residents participated in the price forum seemed had different opinion with South Jakarta P2T.
He disclosed the land price paid is based on the estimation price by appraisal team. As for the highest price offered, is about Rp 26 million per square-meter.
"We can't pay higher that appraisal price. It's the highest. If they don't agree just consignment," he uttered.
